Google released Android 8.1 Oreo

Google released a new version of its mobile operating system — Android 8.1 Oreo. Code Android 8.1 Oreo has been published on Android Open Source, and the update will apply to supported device Pixel and Nexus next week.

Images updates can also be downloaded independently for Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, 5X Nexus and Nexus 6P.

The update brings improvements in the framework autocomplete, new APIs, Neural Networks for applications that use machine learning directly on the device, as well as coprocessor support Visual Core Pixel for Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Android Oreo 8.1 became the first OS version, which came out the Android version Go edition for entry-level smartphones. Also, the update includes small changes and improvements to the settings menu, updated menu, and so on.
